As we become more and more aware of what we consume and where it comes from, the revolution of artisanal food and a return to the old ways of distribution and consumption has led to many local butcher shops embracing the foundation of their predecessors. Through the use of classic prints reimagined, Hooves & Fin integrates a modern look into a classic aesthetic in order to promote both a sense of elegance and old-world nostalgia. Traditional Houndstooth is modified with cows to become Cowstooth, representing beef; a checkered picnic blanket represents pork; paisley for poultry and nautical anchors for seafood.

This brand was a collaborative project by Robin Bostrom, Therese Ottem and myself.
